Location reccis
Locations:
The locations that I might or will use is a park and the other location would be a rural area/rural forest.
The first location that I have chosen is the park because the idea that I have chosen is about a kid losing his balloon but then his dad/brother gives him a Cadbury chocolate to feel better I want to get sad about losing the balloon so this location really links with my idea, and it will give my viewers the message easier and will understand the purpose of this advert so then they can start learning and respecting their Olders/parents but I have chosen the park because its free to do anything and will be better for us to film and easier have access to the park and will not cost anything to film or to go there.
The second location that I have chosen is a rural area/forest because the idea is about keeping people relationships together and strong so then when publishing the advert, it gives the younger audience a little sense of how a kid should be like with their parents or Olders and the second location shows how the relationship with the person is and how link/love is really strong and it gives the audience what they're missing out with their parents/sibling that they can do to have a better bond with this location it would give a better bond with characters and the viewers so this location would give a message of bond or how the viewers can bond with their siblings/parents.
Location comparison:
Park:
Advantages:
- Free to film
- Easy to film
- Variety of parts to film
- Not always busy
- Natural lighting
- Real shadows form people/buildings
- The lighting can be advantage for the filming process
- The issue of filming random people
- Loud noises
- Interruption
- Disturb other people
- Might cause harm to others
Forest:
Advantages:
- Lots of locations provided
- Alot of space
- Alot of rural aspects for the advert
- Gives a good landscape when filming
- There are no people that might disturb the filming
- No disruption
Disadvantages:
- Permit needed to film
- Can easily be lost
- Can be dangerous to film
- Not good service or a source of internet
- Hard to see where you might be or where you are going
Conclusion (Final decision):
The conclusion would be filming in the park because it would be cheaper and better for me because I have more knowledge of the park and the forest would be hard for me to go back and forward to film scenes and if I got to the park to film it will give me a better opportunity to film because I wouldn't have to worry about going back and forward it would cost nothing to go to the park to film and travel then going to the forest and paying for travel and the permit to film in the forest the park would look more lively then the forest so then it really does make the younger target that I'm targeting at watch it because then they can feel like that they are in the advert but if I filmed in the forest it would not be lively at all so the younger audience would not care about the advert because 5+ year olds like lively things so I need the background to be lively and the best thing to film in the park I can get people to be in my advert so then it's easier for me to do it myself so that's why I will be filming in the park.
